(ORAL)

1. This is an application for condonation of delay of 169 days in filing

the Appeal against the impugned Judgment dated 19.12.2024 and Order of

Sentence dated 20.12.2024, passed by the learned Special Judge, (POCSO),

Nongpoh, in Spl (POCSO) Case No. 8 of 2019, whereby the

applicant/appellant has been convicted under Section-4 of the POCSO Act,

2012, sentenced to undergo 15(Fifteen) years of rigorous imprisonment,

accompanied with a fine.

2. We have perused the application for condonation, and we are

satisfied that sufficient cause has been made out in explaining the delay.

3. Ms. N.G.Shylla, learned Sr.GA for the respondent, also has no

objection to the condonation, as prayed.

4. Accordingly, the prayer is allowed and the delay of 169 days, is

condoned. Registry to diarize and register the Appeal.
