The Journal Committee at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, in collaboration with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, organised the 12th edition of the RMLNLU International Legal Essay Writing Competition. Along with that, the RMLNLU – Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Conference on Insolvency Law was also held on 22 March 2025.
This year, the Committee invited submissions from authors on Insolvency Law. The sub-themes for the competition included topics like – Cross-border Insolvency, Integration of ADR for Effective Resolution of Insolvency Disputes, Intersection of Insolvency and Money Laundering, Real Estate Sector and IB Code 2016, Green Insolvency, and the Impact of IBC on Credit Culture.
All entries were judged and ranked by a judge from Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan and the Journal Committee. Following a large number of entries and strong competition, the top three entries were selected for the conference organised on 22 March 2025.
The following are the top three entries of this year’s edition of the RMLNLU International Legal Essay Writing Competition, in their respective order of standing:
