                Per. H.S. Thangkhiew, Judge:

(ORAL)

1. This is an application for condonation of delay of 631 days

in filing the Appeal against the impugned Judgment dated 28.08.2023,

passed by the Court of Special Judge (POCSO), Ri-Bhoi District,

Nongpoh in Special POCSO Case No. 14 of 2015, under Section 376 of

Indian Penal Court, 1860 and Section 6/7 of POCSO Act, 2012, whereby

the applicant/appellant has been convicted under Section 3

(a)/5/(1)/6/7/9(1)/10 of the POCSO Act, 2012, and Section

319/321/323/354/354-A/354B/361/366/375(a) of the IPC Act, 1860.

2. We have perused the application for condonation, and we are

satisfied that sufficient cause has been made out in explaining the delay.

3. Mr. S. Sengupta, learned Addl. P.P. for the respondent, also

has no objection to the condonation, as prayed.

4. Accordingly, the prayer is allowed and the delay of 631 days,

is condoned. Registry to diarize and register the Appeal.

5. Misc. Case stands disposed of.
