1. Mr. S. Sen, learned counsel for the respondent University

has submitted that 2(two) seats are reserved for Persons with

Disabilities (PwDs), i.e. 1(one) for Un-reserved and another for

Reserved category. He further submits that there are 3(three) candidates

have presently applied for admission in PwD category, and that the

same is under examination. He prays that some time be given to the

University authorities to finalize the admission process, after due

verification.

2. On this submission, Mr. P. Yobin, learned counsel for the

petitioner submits that the instant writ petition may be closed with a

direction that the verification process be taken up expeditiously to

enable successful candidates to join in time.

3. Accordingly, on the submissions of the learned counsel for

the parties and noting the fact that the admission process is still on, the

instant writ petition is closed with a direction the respondent authorities

will conduct the verification of certificates of Disabilities, as

expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above directions, the matter stands closed and is

accordingly disposed of.
