                Per. H.S. Thangkhiew, Judge:

(ORAL)

1. This is an application for condonation of delay of 603 days

in filing the Appeal against the impugned Judgment dated 29.09.2023 and

Order of Sentence dated 29.09.2023, passed by the learned Special Judge,

(POCSO), West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin in Special POCSO Case

No. 06 of 2018, whereby the applicant/appellant has been convicted

under Section-5(J)(ii)(l)(n) of the POCSO Act, and Section 506 Part II

IPC and under Section 6 of the Act ibid, sentenced to undergo 20(Twenty)

years of rigorous imprisonment, accompanied with a fine.

2. We have perused the application for condonation, and we are

satisfied that sufficient cause has been made out in explaining the delay.

3. Mr. N.D. Chullai, learned AAG assisted by Ms. R. Colney,

learned GA for the respondent, also has no objection to the condonation,

as prayed.

4. Accordingly, the prayer is allowed and the delay of 603 days,

is condoned. Registry to diarize and register the Appeal.

5. Misc. Case stands disposed of.
