Present C482 application has been filed by
the applicants along with the compounding
application (IA/3/2024) for quashing the charge-
sheet dated 12.08.2023, summoning order dated
25.09.2023 passed by the learned Chief Judicial
Magistrate, Dehradun in Criminal Case No.5888 of
2023 State Vs. Manoj Goyal and Others, for the
offences punishable under Sections 498A, 323, 504 &
506 IPC and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry
Prohibition Act and the entire proceedings of
aforementioned criminal case, on the basis of a
compromise entered into between the parties.
2. A Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide
order dated 04.12.2024 directed the parties to the
proceedings to appear before the District Legal
Services Authority, District Dehradun on 11.12.2024
at 11:30 AM, who, in turn, was directed to record the
statements of parties and verify the contents of the
affidavits filed along with the compounding
application.
