ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company‘s Board has approved the appointment of Anuradha Bhatia as an Additional (Independent) Director for a term of 5 (five) consecutive years commencing from March 12, 2025 till March 11, 2030, according to the Company’s regulatory filing.
She is an ex-member (Technical) of National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai and a Retired Principal Chief Commissioner Income Tax. As a member of NCLT, Mumbai, Bhatia was involved in administering the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and the Companies Act, 2013, adjudicating matters covering dispute resolution, liquidation, insolvency/ bankruptcy, oppression and mismanagement, merger and amalgamation of corporates.
She has over three decades of experience in Direct Tax Administration culminating in the oversight of 23 districts of Maharashtra as Principal Chief Commissioner, Income Tax (Pune) and was a Director (Finance) on the Board of Maharashtra State Electricity Board overseeing its debt and financial restructuring.
She is a Senior Partner at A. B. Advisor and ABW Legal, advisory firms.
