1. Ms. Sheetal Selwal, learned counsel for the
appellant.
2. Mr. Pankaj Joshi, learned AGA for the State.
3. Present appellant was convicted by Special
Judge, NDPS Act, Udham Singh Nagar by judgment
dated 18.09.2021 for the offences punishable under
Section 8 / 22 NDPS Act with sentence of 10 years
rigorous imprisonment with fine of Rs. 1,00,000/-.
4. This appeal was admitted on 18.10.2021 and trial
court record was summoned. Thereafter, paper book
was prepared and supplied to the learned counsel for
the parties on 16.08.2022.
5. On the previous date, matter was posted for final
hearing for today.
6. Today, learned counsel for the appellant is ready
to argue the case but learned State Counsel seeks three
days’ time to prepare and argue the matter.
7. List on 03.04.2025 at 03.00 p.m. for final hearing.
8. Since the appellant was not on bail during trial,
therefore, this Court is of the view that appellant does
not deserve for bail.
9. Accordingly, bail application is rejected.
