1987 filed by the Respondents under Section 217 of the Mumbai
Municipal Corporation Act, 1888 [for short, “MMC Act”] challenging
the order of Investigating Officer dated 27 th March, 1987 fixing the
rateable value at Rs. 88,740/- with effect from 1 st April, 1987 to 31st
March, 1988 has been impugned.
