1 The petitioners are apprehending their arrest
SLP (Crl) No.14668-14669/2024
in connection with FIR No. 50/2024 dated 03.08.2024
registered at Police Station CCB Coimbatore City for
the offences punishable under Sections 420, 427, 448,
453, 506(2) and 120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
2 While issuing notice on 18.10.2024, by way of
interim relief, direction for not taking coercive
steps subject to cooperation in the investigation,
was issued.
3 After hearing learned counsel for the parties
and in the facts of this case, without expressing any
opinion on the merits of the case, we deem it
appropriate to confirm the order of interim
protection and deem it appropriate to release the
petitioners on anticipatory bail.
4 In view of the above, we direct that in the
event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on
bail on furnishing suitable bail bonds and sureties
and on such other terms and conditions as may be
deemed fit by the Station House Officer of the
concerned police station.
