appellant and the learned counsel appearing for the

respondent-State. None appears for the second

respondent-complainant.

By the impugned order, the High Court has dismissed

the petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal

Procedure, 1973 filed by the appellant for quashing a

complaint filed against him and others for the offences

punishable under Sections 499, 500, 501, 502, 503 and 506

of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
