03. 1. This application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed
challenging the order dated 14.11.2022 passed by the learned S.D.J.M.,
Udala, Mayurbhanj in CT Case No.844 of 2022 arising out of Udala
P.S. Case No.281 of 2022 taking cognizance of the offences punishable
under Sections 341, 323, 114, 294, 500 and 506 of I.P.C.
2. Ms. Sai Suman, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. J.K.
Khuntia, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Petitioner
No.1 was the Principal and Petitioners Nos.2 and 3 were the Readers in
Udala College and on account of an incident which occurred during
conduct of examination in the college, the present FIR has been lodged
against the petitioners. She further submits that one of the petitioners
has also submitted an F.I.R. leading to registration of Udala P.S. Case
No.283 of 2022 under Sections 341, 294, 500, 506 of the IPC read with
Sections 3(1)(r) and Section 3(1)(s) of the SC and ST (PoA) Act

against the informant in this case.
3. Considering the genesis of the occurrence and as the petitioners
and informant were working as Principal and Readers/Professors in the
college at that point of time, I am inclined to issue notice to Opposite
Party No.2. After appearance of the Opposite Party No.2 attempt can
be made to settle the dispute between the parties amicably. Requisites
for issuance of notice by registered/speed post with AD be filed within
one week. Notice be made returnable within six weeks.
4. List this case on 2nd July, 2025.
5. In the interim, it is directed that further proceeding in CT Case
No.844 of 2022 pending before the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Udala,
Mayurbhanj shall remain stayed till the next date.
6. In the meanwhile, Mr. S.J. Mohanty, learned Addl. Standing
Counsel shall obtain the case diary as well as instructions regarding
status of Udala P.S. Case No.281 of 2022.
7. Registry shall call for a report from the learned S.D.J.M., Udala
regarding status of CT Case No.844 of 2022.
