1. The claim for compensation raised in the present
Detailed Accident Report (DAR) is in respect of fatal injuries
alleged to have been sustained by the deceased Sh. Manpreet
Singh in a motor accident that took place on 12.03.2016 at about
9:07 pm at NH-8, Main Road near Landing Point, Mahipalpur,
New Delhi, regarding which one FIR No.173/2016, under
Sections 279/337 IPC was registered at PS Vasant Kunj North.
Later offence punishable under Section 304-A IPC was added.
The vehicle involved in this case is Champion (three wheeler)
bearing registration No. DL-1LL-8924, which at the relevant
time of accident was being driven by respondent no.1 Sh.
Chandan (R1) and owned by respondent no. 2 Sh. Satpal (R2).
