Mr. Susheet Kumar, learned counsel holding
brief of Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for
petitioner.
2. Mr. Bhaskar Chandra Joshi, learned A.G.A.
with Mr. Vipul Painuli, learned Brief Holder for
the State of Uttarakhand/respondent Nos.1 and
2.
3. By means of the present writ petition,
petitioner has put to challenge the FIR No.897 of
2024 dated 19.11.2024, for the offences
punishable under Sections 8/20/60 of the
Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,
1985, registered with P.S. Kotwali Haridwar,
District Haridwar.
4. Learned State Counsel made a statement at
Bar on instruction that after investigation,
charge-sheet has been submitted against the
petitioner on 21.03.2025, therefore, nothing
remains to be decided in this writ petition and it
has become infructuous.
5. This fact has not been disputed by learned
counsel appearing for the petitioner and he
submits that he would challenge the said
charge-sheet before this Court in appropriate
proceedings.
6. In view of the statement made by learned
counsel for the parties, the present criminal writ
petition is dismissed as infructuous, with the
aforesaid liberty.
7. Interim order dated 12.12.2024 stands
vacated.
