The Centre for Development of Intellectual Property and Research (CDIPR) is a premier institution established under the Indian Centre for Child and Human Rights (ICCHR) as India’s First Non-Governmental Research Organisation dedicated to Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs).

Operating under the Naovina Development of Intellectual Property and Research Foundation as a registered Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), CDIPR is dedicated to promoting and protecting Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) within India, thereby fostering a conducive environment for innovation and creativity. In today’s global landscape, where intellectual property serves as a cornerstone for economic growth, technological advancement and cultural development, CDIPR plays a pivotal role in driving forward-thinking policies, research and education.

About the Conclave

The Global Literature Conclave 2025 is a premier international literary gathering curated by the Centre for Development of Intellectual Property and Research (CDIPR), Naovina Development of Intellectual Property and Research Foundation in association with the Poetry Foundation and Amazon Kindle. This conclave is more than a literary event—it is a movement of voices, stories, and imaginations, created to ignite dialogue, bridge cultural divides, and celebrate the power of the written and spoken word in shaping global consciousness.

Set in the dynamic intersection of literature, identity, and human rights, the conclave offers a unique platform for poets, prose writers, scholars, students, literary activists, and cultural change-makers from across the globe to come together and participate in a bold, inclusive exchange of thought. With a focus on hope, resistance, and identity, the event aims to spotlight narratives from the margins and amplify the power of storytelling as a tool of liberation and solidarity. 

Vision & Theme

The 2025 edition is guided by the theme “Ink. Identity. Impact.” seeking to create an open, intersectional space for global literary expression. As we stand at the crossroads of technological upheaval, humanitarian crises, and cultural transformations, this conclave positions literature as a compass to navigate the challenges of our times and reimagine a more empathetic world.

This year’s conclave features interdisciplinary literary dialogue rooted in:

• Climate Narratives & Ecopoetry
• Global Indigenous Storytelling

• Children’s Literature and the Future of Learning
• Intellectual Property in Literary Expression

• Format: Virtual Mode

Call for Submissions

As part of this Global Conclave, we invite original, unpublished poetry and prose submissions on two powerful themes:

Call For Poetry

Theme:“Fragments of Freedom: Poetry for Identity, Rights and Resistance”

Guidelines:

• Submit 1–2 original poems, each up to 40 lines (Minimum 15 lines)
• Languages Accepted: English
• Format: Word Document (.doc/.docx), 12 pt Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing
• Include a short bio (max 80 words) in a separate document
• Open to: Writers aged 16 and above from all countries
• Submission Deadline: 28th May, 2025

Suggested Themes:

• Personal and cultural identity
• Social justice and resistance
• Gender equality and feminism
• Children’s voices and future-building
• Migration, memory, and belonging
• Nature, climate, and hope

Call For Prose (Essays & Short Stories)

Theme:“Tales of Tomorrow: Writing the World We Wish to Inherit”

Guidelines:

• Submit 1 short story or personal essay: 1000–2000 words
• Language: English only
• Format: Word Document (.doc/.docx), 12 pt Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing
• Include a short bio (max 100 words) in a separate document
• Open to: All writers, students, educators and global citizens
• Submission Deadline: 28th May, 2025

• Youth and future imagination
• Rights, freedom, and dignity
• Technology and humanity
• Intergenerational stories
• Conflict, healing, and resilience
• Empowerment through education

Recognition & Awards

Selected contributors will receive:

• Publication in the international anthology titled “Voices Without Borders: A Global Anthology of Hope, Resistance & Identity” (To be published in 15 Nations across the Globe)
• International Certificate of Recognition
• Opportunity to present at the Global Literature Conclave 2025 (virtual)
• Feature in the official CDIPR Literary Showcase
