Coram: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE

                                                    ORDER

23.12.2024
It has been brought to the notice of this Court by Mr. Raman Sharma,
learned AAG that the Apex Court in SLP No. 17409 of 2021 in case titled,
U.T. of Jammu and Kashmir and others Vs. Jatinder Singh and another“,
has already put a rider that no appointment henceforth be made insofar as the
Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) is concerned and in the instant contempt petition, the
petitioner is seeking compliance of the order dated 08.12.2017, whereby a
direction was issued to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner in
the light of recommendations made by CEO, Poonch as well as ZEO, Surankote
as ReT.

Thus, according to Mr. Raman Sharma, learned AAG, the order passed by
this Court in the light of the rider imposed by Apex Court, could not be
implemented. This is the precise reason perhaps and there is no representation
on behalf of the petitioner as well.

In view of the above, proceedings in the instant contempt petition are
closed. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

Contempt petition, is accordingly, ‘disposed of’.
