The cell is responsible for offering legal guidance on constitutional matters, election law, legislative matters, and any legal challenges faced by the party or its representatives.

BJP Legal Cell Internship

The BJP Legal Cell Internship offers law students an exceptional opportunity to gain practical experience in the intersection of law and politics. This program offers law students a unique opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-life legal contexts, ensuring they gain hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the legal profession.

About Vidhayika

The Vidhayika Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for law students to gain first-hand experience in the legislative and governance process by working closely with a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Delhi.

Expected Work

• Legislative Research: Conducting in-depth legal research on bills, state policies, and legal reforms relevant to Delhi and the assigned MLA’s constituency.
• Drafting Support: Assisting in drafting questions, private member bills, and briefing notes for Assembly sessions.
• Policy Analysis: Reviewing government schemes, analyzing their legal implications, and suggesting improvements.
• Constituency Work: Supporting the MLA in addressing legal issues raised by constituents, including RTIs, land rights, and local governance matters.
• Documentation and Reporting: Preparing detailed reports, case studies, and legal summaries for use in the MLA’s office and assembly debates.

Steps

• Invitation of the Application form of the internship
• Applications will be shortlisted based on the year of study
• Selected Applicants will receive the confirmation mail and information.
• Interns will be sent in the offices of the Senior Advocates, Lawyers & Chambers .  
• Orientation programme will be commenced 
• Workshop & Sessions will be organised exclusively for the interns.
• Certificate of Internships will be provided at the end .
• Note- Certificate of internship only will be provided once internship is completed by the Applicant & all rights are reserved to the organisers to withhold the Certificate.
