About the BJP Legal Cell

The BJP Legal Cell serves as a crucial arm of the Bharatiya Janata Party, offering comprehensive legal support and guidance to the party and its members. It plays a key role in navigating legal challenges related to constitutional matters, election laws, legislative issues, and party governance. The cell ensures that the party’s policies and actions are legally sound and constitutionally compliant.


About the Internship

The BJP Legal Cell Internship is a unique opportunity for law students to gain practical exposure at the intersection of law, governance, and politics. This internship offers first-hand experience in legal research, legislative analysis, policy review, and support for legal cases concerning the party and its representatives.

Interns will:

  • Work closely with legal professionals and political figures

  • Gain insights into election law, constitutional law, and public policy

  • Understand the legal framework within which political parties operate

Ideal for students interested in political law, governance, or constitutional litigation.


About Pra-Vidhika

Pra-Vidhika seeks to bridge the gap between the theory and practice of law. It connects academic learning with real-world legal practice, offering immersive legal experiences and hands-on learning opportunities.


About Vidhayika

The Vidhayika Internship Program places interns in the offices of Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) in Delhi, allowing them to engage directly in legislative and constituency-level legal work.

Intern Responsibilities:

  • Legislative Research: Analyze state laws, policies, and proposed bills

  • Drafting Support: Prepare briefing notes, questions, and private member bills

  • Policy Analysis: Evaluate government schemes and legal implications

  • Constituency Assistance: Help address public grievances (e.g., RTIs, land disputes)

  • Documentation: Draft case studies, reports, and summaries for assembly use


Internship Duration & Batches

Location: Delhi
(Interns may work across Delhi District Courts, High Court, Supreme Court, Tribunals, and MLA offices)

Batches Available:

  • Batch 1: 9th June – 8th July 2025 | Deadline: 5th June

  • Batch 2: 1st July – 30th July 2025 | Deadline: 25th June

  • Batch 3: 1st August – 30th August 2025 | Deadline: 25th July

  • Batch 4: 1st September – 30th September 2025 | Deadline: 25th August

  • Batch 5: 1st October – 30th October 2025 | Deadline: 25th September

  • Batch 6: 1st November – 30th November 2025 | Deadline: 25th October

  • Batch 7: 1st December – 30th December 2025 | Deadline: 25th November


Selection Process

  1. Applications Invited via online form

  2. Shortlisting based on year of study

  3. Confirmation Email to selected applicants

  4. Intern Placement with Senior Advocates, Law Chambers, and MLAs

  5. Orientation Programme

  6. Workshops and Training Sessions during internship

  7. Certificate of Internship awarded upon completion

Note: Certificate will be issued only after successful completion. Organizers reserve the right to withhold certificates if obligations are unmet.
