Are you a young environmental leader, eco-entrepreneur, or climate advocate looking to amplify your voice? The Climate Cardinals UYC India Chapter invites youth from across India to apply for the Generation Restore Talk Series—an inspiring online speaking opportunity for youth committed to environmental sustainability, grassroots innovation, and climate justice. This event will take place on 5 June 2025, in celebration of World Environment Day, spotlighting the contributions of youth changemakers working at the intersection of climate action, biodiversity, and sustainable development.

About the Organizers

Climate Cardinals is a global youth-led nonprofit making climate change education accessible in every language through translation and open-source sharing. In India, the movement is led by Udaan Youth Club (UYC)—a nationally recognized youth organization known for its impactful grassroots campaigns, climate literacy drives, and inclusive sustainability programs. Together, they empower young individuals to lead environmental change, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global climate advocacy frameworks.

About the Program

This national online event provides a platform for youth to present their environmental initiatives, lived experiences, and actionable solutions through 7–10 minute PowerPoint presentations in English or Hindi.

From climate education and zero-waste projects to renewable energy solutions and ecosystem restoration—your voice matters in shaping a more sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient India.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from youth aged 13 to 30 years, especially those actively involved in environmental organizations, youth-led sustainability initiatives, community-based eco-campaigns, green startups and innovation hubs, and climate and nature education. You should be working in areas like climate action and climate justice, biodiversity and ecosystem restoration, sustainable living and waste management, water and renewable energy conservation, nature-based education and SDG projects. Self-nominations and institutional nominations (by NGOs, schools, colleges, or youth networks) are highly encouraged to ensure diverse participation.

Responsibilities of Selected Youth Speakers

Chosen speakers will deliver a 7–10 minute online talk (PPT format) in English or Hindi, share their environmental story, community impact, and learnings, inspire others by reflecting on their climate journey, and represent their organization or community on a national platform.

Perks & Recognition

All selected youth speakers will receive a digital certificate of appreciation from Climate Cardinals UYC India Chapter acknowledging their commitment to environmental advocacy and youth leadership. Additionally, speakers will be featured across official social media channels and partner media networks, enhancing visibility and expanding the reach of their message. This recognition serves as a platform to inspire broader engagement in climate action among peers and communities.
