About the Conclave

The Global Literature Conclave 2025 is a premier international literary gathering curated by the Centre for Development of Intellectual Property and Research (CDIPR), Naovina Development of Intellectual Property and Research Foundation in association with the Poetry Foundation and Amazon Kindle.

This conclave is more than a literary event—it is a movement of voices, stories, and imaginations, created to ignite dialogue, bridge cultural divides, and celebrate the power of the written and spoken word in shaping global consciousness. Set in the dynamic intersection of literature, identity, and human rights, the conclave offers a unique platform for poets, prose writers, scholars, students, literary activists, and cultural change-makers from across the globe to come together and participate in a bold, inclusive exchange of thought.

With a focus on hope, resistance, and identity, the event aims to spotlight narratives from the margins and amplify the power of storytelling as a tool of liberation and solidarity. 

About the Conference

The Global Conference on Literature, Rights & Resistance (GLRR), 2025 is an International  academic and literary research Conference under the Global Literature Conclave, 2025, bringing together writers, researchers, scholars and cultural commentators from around the world to critically explore the intersection of literature with identity, justice, technology and transformation. In an era marked by geopolitical upheaval, humanitarian crises, environmental degradation and technological acceleration, literature continues to serve not only as a mirror to society but also as a medium of resistance and reform.

This global conference aims to foreground the role of literary expression as a means of archiving lived experiences, challenging oppressive systems, and envisioning a more inclusive and humane future. The conference aspires to create an interdisciplinary, intersectional, and intergenerational space of inquiry and exchange, welcoming contributions that question the present and imagine the future through the lens of literary narratives.

Conference Objectives

• To foster critical literary discourse around contemporary global issues such as climate justice, identity politics, digital disruption and human rights.
• To offer a platform for diverse literary voices from across geographies and communities, especially from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups.
• To interrogate the evolving roles of literature in political resistance, cultural memory and social transformation.
• To encourage collaborative exchange between literary scholars, writers, educators and cultural leaders on a global stage.

Format and Presentation

The conference will be held in virtual mode to ensure inclusive participation from across borders. Selected presenters will be invited to present their work in live paper presentation Sessions.

Recognition & Awards

Selected contributors will receive:

• Publication in the international anthology titled “Voices Without Borders: A Global Anthology of Hope, Resistance & Identity” , ISBN: 978-81-984132-9-1

(To be published and distributed across 15 countries, with international editorial and institutional collaboration.)

Call for Papers Timeline

• Abstract Submission Deadline: 15th June 2025(Abstracts should be between 250–300 words, clearly indicating the research question, methodology and relevance to the conclave themes.)
• Notification of Abstract Selection: 18th June 2025(Selected authors will be notified via email and invited to submit full papers.)
• Full Paper Submission Deadline: 20th June 2025(Full-length papers should be 3,000–4,000 words and follow the Conference’s Submission Guidelines.)
• Presentation Confirmation by Authors: 21st June 2025(Selected participants must confirm attendance and complete registration.)

• Creative-Critical Essays: 2,000 to 3,000 words
• Abstract: 250–300 words with 5 keywords

• Headings: 14pt, Centre Alignment
• Subheadings: 13pt
• Footnotes: 10pt, Left Alignment
• Citation Style: MLA 9th Edition (Modern Language Association)

Abstract: Each submission must include a concise abstract not exceeding 300 words summarising the core ideas of the paper with 5 keywords.

Originality:

• Submissions must be entirely original and unpublished.
• Plagiarism should not exceed 10%, and AI-generated content is not allowed. Submissions violating these guidelines will be rejected.

Co-Authorship: Papers may have up to two authors.

Anonymity: All submissions must exclude identifiable information about the author(s).

Review Process:

• A two-stage internal review will assess submissions.
• Authors may be required to revise their papers based on feedback regarding content, structure, or formatting.
