1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned
A.P.P. for the State. No one appears on behalf of the opposite
party no.2.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for
grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection
with Jehanabad Complaint Case no.435 of 2023 registered
under sections 498A, 341, 323, 379, 354B and 509 of the Indian
Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the D.P. Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the complainant was
married to the petitioner on 9.5.2022. It is stated that soon after
the complainant going to her matrimonial house, the accused

persons including the petitioner herein who happens to be her
husband started harassing her for non-fulfillment of the demand
of dowry by way of a bullet motorcycle. She was abused,
assaulted and finally ousted from her matrimonial house on
1.7.2023.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case only on
account of his being the husband of the complainant. He has
always been ready to settle the differences amicably. Inspite of
the matter being referred to the Patna High Court Mediation
Centre, no settlement could be arrived at. The petitioner has no
criminal antecedent.
5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by
learned A.P.P. for the State. No one appears on behalf of the
opposite party no.2.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and
taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the
petitioner in the complaint together with the petitioner not
having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that the petitioner
above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the
learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released
on anticipatory bail in connection with Jehanabad Complaint
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71225 of 2024(5) dt.05-06-2025

Case no.435 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-
(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate,
Jehanabad.
