Learned Advocate General Mr. Lenin Hijam for the State of
Manipur/appellants is present before the Court physically in respect of the
proceeding in WA No. 9 of 2024. Similarly, the learned senior counsel Mr.
N. Jotendro for the respondents in this proceeding is present before the
court physically.
However, the said proceeding in WA No. 9 of 2024 is
connected with the proceedings in MC(WA) No. 20 of 2024, MC(WA) No. 21

of 2024, MC(WA) No. 22 of 2024, MC(WP(C)) No. 110 of 2024, WA No. 10
of 2024, WA No. 11 of 2024 inclusive of WP(C) No. 140 of 2024.
Whereas the learned senior counsel in the rank of the
respondents in all these matters facilitated Xerox copies of the orders
rendered by the Supreme Court of India in a proceeding of Petition(s) for
Special Leave to Appeal (C) No(s). 6396-6401/2024 wherein the appeals
are disposed of in terms of the signed order. As a result, the pending
interlocutory applications, including the application for intervention, stand
disposed of. The order is also facilitated by the learned senior counsel in
these matters for the purpose of perusal.
Whereas in paras 8 of the order indicates that it is clarified
that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
However, keeping in view the submission made by learned
senior counsel in the rank of the respondents and also keeping in view the
submission made by learned AG in these matters, it is deemed appropriate
that these matters would be listed on 17th June, 2025.
However, keeping in view the submission made by learned
senior counsel for the respondents in these matters, it is deemed
appropriate that learned AG be permitted to submit synoptic notes in terms
of the submission and copy of the same be furnished to counsel for the
respondents for the purpose of reference on or before the aforesaid date.

However, keeping in view the prohibitory order rendered by
the executing authority and also keeping in view of the situation in the
Imphal City, it is deemed appropriate that these matters would be listed on
17th June, 2025.
