When the matter was listed on 03.06.2025, Mr. Himmat

Jagga learned counsel was present on behalf of the complainant

however, today, no one is present for the complainant.

2. The present bail application has been preferred by the

petitioner under Section 483 of BNSS (Old Section 439 Cr.P.C.) in

connection with FIR No.486/2024 registered at Police Station

Jawahar Nagar, District Sriganganagar for the offences punishable

under Sections 137(2), 317(2), 87 & 96 of BNS, under Sections

5(l)/6 & 16/17 of the POCSO Act and under Section 3(2)(v), (va)

of the SC/ST Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner

has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted

that the main accused in the present case is the person named

Abhishek and no active role has been assigned to the petitioner by

the investigating agency. The accused-petitioner is in judicial

custody since long. Charge-sheet has been filed and the trial of

the case will take long time. Therefore, it is prayed that the

accused-petitioner may be enlarged on bail.

4. Learned Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the bail

application.

5. Having regard to the totality of the facts and circumstances

of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the

case, I deem it just and proper to grant bail to the accused

petitioner under Section 483 of BNSS (Old Section 439 Cr.P.C.)

6. Accordingly, the bail application filed under Section 483 of

BNSS (Old Section 439 Cr.P.C.) is allowed and it is directed that

petitioner Maya @ Rani W/o Sh. Dharamchand Jain shall be

released on bail in connection with FIR No.486/2024 of Police

Station Jawahar Nagar, District Sriganganagar provided she

executes a personal bond in a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two

sound and solvent sureties of Rs.50,000/- each to the satisfaction

of learned trial Court for her appearance before that Court on each

and every date of hearing and whenever called upon to do so till

the completion of the trial.
