Heard the parties.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this interlocutory
application has been filed with a prayer to amend the Cr.M.P. No. 4095 of 2023
by making additional prayer of quashing the order dated 17.02.2024 passed in
Khelgaon P.S. Case No.45 of 2023 corresponding to G.R. No.561 of 2024
whereby and whereunder the learned J.M., First Class-XXVIII, Ranchi has taken
cognizance of the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471,
120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and issued summons to the petitioners. It is
next submitted that the proposed amendment was necessitated because of the
developments which took place after filing of this criminal miscellaneous
petition. It is lastly submitted that unless the proposed amendment is allowed,
the petitioners will be highly prejudiced.
