National Law University Delhi was pleased to host a delegation from the University of Southampton, comprising Prof. Werner Scholtz (Head of Law School), Dr. Stephanie Law (Director, Postgraduate Taught Programme), Dr. Napolean Xanthoulis (Co-Director, Law and Technology Centre), and Prof. Sabu Padmadas (Professor of Demography & Global Health).
The delegation met with Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Daniel Mathew, Dean (International Affairs) to explore opportunities for academic and research collaboration, with a focus on interdisciplinary engagement in areas such as environmental law, technology, particularly AI, global health, and postgraduate education. The discussions were productive and forward-looking, laying the groundwork for student and faculty exchanges, joint initiatives and deeper institutional ties.
