About the Job Opportunity

The National Law University Delhi (NLUD) invites applications for the post of a full-time Research Assistant (Law) for a project related to “New Criminal Laws”. The position is initially for a period of two months (extendable up to six months, depending on the requirement).

Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to assist in the research work in the relevant area in consultation with the Project coordinator. The responsibilities of the Research Assistant include-

• Content review for legal accuracy including reviewing and providing inputs on use of
  correct legal terminology, language, citations, references etc.;
• Any other research work.

Eligibility

• Essential: Law graduate (LL.B. or B.A.LL.B.) and LL.M. (appearing/completed);
• Updated knowledge of substantive and procedural criminal law (Old criminal laws as well as new criminal laws);
• Efficiency in legal content review;
• Proficiency in English;
• Skilled in MS Office applications;
• Desirable: Studied Criminal Law at Masters level, Prior work experience; work on New Criminal Laws.

Remuneration

Approximately ₹ 40,000 per month (Consolidated).
