S.S. Jain Subodh Law College, Jaipur

Sector 5, Shipra Path, behind Metro Mass Hospital, Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302020

From a law student’s perspective, the infrastructure at SS Jain Subodh Law College is good, although the campus isn’t very large. The classrooms are well-ventilated, air-conditioned, and equipped with smart boards and CCTV cameras.

The college provides all the necessary facilities like a library, sports area, and basic amenities, though the sports facilities are not on a large scale. One of the highlights is the spacious moot court hall and an auditorium that is among the largest in private law colleges in Jaipur.

Overall: 3.5/5

The academic culture at my college is fair, not extraordinary, but decent enough to motivate students toward good academic performance.

Earlier, the faculty was quite strong, with many professors coming from Rajasthan University or with equivalent expertise. However, in the past 6–7 months, around 20+ experienced faculty members have resigned, leading to a shortage.

Still, the current faculty is supportive and knowledgeable, and they do their best to guide and assist students.

Overall: 2.5/5

In my opinion, the peer quality at SS Jain Subodh Law College is excellent. My peers are extremely helpful, and they’ve played a vital role in shaping who I am today. From academic support like sharing notes to giving personal life advice, every friend I’ve met so far has been encouraging and reliable. It’s a very cooperative and positive environment.

Overall: 4.5/5

My college actively organizes a variety of co-curricular activities—from classroom tests and informal debates to seminars, webinars, moot courts, and parliamentary debates. You can expect at least two major competitions per year.

In terms of extra-curriculars, events like the Subodh Premier League (SPL) for cricket and regular social drives are conducted. The college also celebrates festivals and hosts cultural activities like Garba nights and freshers’ parties.

Overall: 3/5

Placements at my college are below average, as it falls under the tier-3 category.

While the maximum package reportedly reaches around ₹10 LPA, the average hovers around ₹5–6 LPA. However, these opportunities are limited, and most students have to rely on their own efforts, internships, and networking to secure jobs or further opportunities.

Overall: 2/5

The hostels are quite good in terms of facilities. As of 2025, the annual fee is ₹1,32,000 for air-conditioned rooms and ₹90,000 for non-AC rooms. The food quality is satisfactory, and hygiene is well-maintained. The rooms are regularly cleaned, and overall, hostel management is quite decent.

Overall: 4/5

One of the best aspects of my college is the friendly and approachable environment. Both teachers and seniors are supportive and easily accessible for guidance. The college encourages student participation in moot courts, debates, and other competitions. I especially appreciate how simple the application process is for these events, you just need to submit a basic form to participate.

Like any institution, my college has a few drawbacks. Frequent changes in faculty members disrupt academic continuity and syllabus completion. Another concern is the lack of punctuality in the functioning of the college. Although 75% attendance is officially required, it’s not strictly enforced in practice.

One ongoing issue is the college’s affiliation with Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University. This has led to delays in examinations. For example, in our 2023–2028 batch, there was a delay of nearly 4 months in the first-semester exams. The same issue seems to be affecting other batches as well.

7/10
