About the Journal

Journal of Legal Research and Polity is a newly launched, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to exploring cutting-edge research at the intersection of law, technology, ethics, and public policy. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly integrity and rigorous peer review.

The journal is currently in the process of obtaining an ISSN, which will be formally integrated upon allotment, covering all published issues, including this inaugural edition. This will enhance discoverability and citation potential for all contributors.

About the Theme

The 21st century has reshaped the landscape of human rights, rapid technological advancements, including AI and surveillance tools, have raised pressing concerns around privacy, freedom of expression, and digital safety. At the same time, longstanding issues affecting marginalized communities—such as caste, class, gender, and displacement—require renewed legal focus and reform.

Climate change, environmental degradation, and the digitalization further demand innovative legal responses. This issue of JLRP seeks to explore these evolving dimensions through critical and interdisciplinary perspectives, aiming to ameliorate the protection of human rights frameworks.

Submission Guidelines

• Submissions must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 500 words and five key words.
• Citation Style: APA 7thEdition
• Submissions must be original and unpublished. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
• No Footnotes, only references to be added at the end of manuscript and text citation.

Important dates

• Abstract submission deadline: 25th August 2025.
• Abstract acceptance: 1st September 2025.
• Full paper submission: 30th September 2025.
• Full paper acceptance: 10th October 2025.
• Publication date: 15th October 2025.

Types of Submission

• Original articles: Maximum 4000 words.
• Book reviews/case comments: Maximum 2500 words.
• Legislative Comments: Maximum 2500 words.
