AVNEESH JHINGAN, J:-
1. This petition is filed seeking quashing of order dated
14.08.2024 rejecting the prayer of the petitioner for pre-mature
release.
2. The brief facts are that the petitioner was convicted for
offences under Sections 302, 120-B IPC and Section 3/25 of Arms
[2025:RJ-JP:24645-DB] (2 of 3) [CRLW-1936/2024]
Act, 1959 vide judgment dated 16.03.2012. The petitioner was
sentenced to life imprisonment and to pay fine of Rs.1,000/-, in
case of failure to pay fine undergo six months of imprisonment.
The appeal of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court. The
petitioner was released on permanent parole vide order dated
12.06.2020. The application dated 12.01.2024 was filed by the
petitioner for pre-mature release. The application was rejected by
the impugned order stating that the report of the District
Magistrate, Jaipur was not clear. The Superintendent of Police had
not recommended pre-mature release of the petitioner.
