2. The Petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in
connection with G.R. Case No.437 of 2023 pending
on the file of learned J.M.F.C.-IV (COG-TAKING),
Cuttack arising out of Kissannagar P.S. Case No.72 of
2023 for commission of offences punishable under
Section 406/417/418/420/120-B/34 of IPC.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the
Petitioner that taking into account the nature of
allegation which relate to the period 19.04.2004 to
19.12.2022 and the registration of the FIR pursuant
to the order passed by the learned Magistrate in
exercise of his power under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C.,
custodial interrogation of the Petitioner is not
necessary.
