The petitioner was convicted for the offences punishable
under Section 302 read with Section 114 of the Indian Penal Code
and Section 135(1) of the Bombay Police Act and the conviction has
been upheld by the High Court. The prosecution has been able to
prove its case beyond reasonable doubt.

We see absolutely no reason to interfere with the order of the
High Court, in exercise of our jurisdiction under Article 136 of
