The challenge in this appeal is made to conviction and
sentence of the appellant Mahesh Khanna under Sections 366A, 372,
370, 370-A, 376(1) IPC, Section 4(1) of the Protection of Children from
Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Sections 5 & 7 of the Immoral Traffic
(Prevention) Act, 1956, recorded on 25.03.2021 in Special Sessions
Trial No. 08 of 2019, State v. Mahesh Khanna and others, by the court
of Special Judge (POCSO), District Rudraprayag.
2. The appellant has filed the third bail application seeking
his release on bail during pendency of the appeal. His first bail
application and second bail application have already been rejected on
10.07.2023 and 01.07.2024, respectively.
