1. The Firearm license of the petitioner was cancelled by the respondent No.3/District Magistrate, Bulandshahar vide order dated 01.04.2021 passed in Case No.00424 of 2021 on the ground that a criminal case being Case Crime No.1001 of 2020 under Sections 302, 201 & 120-B I.P.C was registered against the petitioner in which charge-sheet was submitted against the petitioner. Against aforesaid order, an appeal was filed by the petitoner which was also rejected by the respondent No.2/Commissioner Meerut Division Meerut vide order dated 25.08.2021 on the same ground. Hence the present petition.

2. It is stated in paragraph 18 of the petition that in the aforesaid criminal case,the petitioner was acquitted by the Additional Sessions Judge/Fast Track Court, No.1 Bulandshahar vide its judgement and order dated 22.10.2024. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that once the petitioner has been acquitted in the aforesaid criminal case, he is entitled to get back his arm license. In support of his arguments, he placed reliance upon the judgement and order dated 01.03.2024 passed by this Court in Writ C No.3761 of 2023 (Santosh Kumar Vs. Commissioner, Devi Patan Mandal Gonda and another).
