About the Organisation
Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti is a leading NGO in Delhi. Professor K.K. Aggrawal, Vice Chancellor of South Asia University (International University), is the Hon’ble Chief Patron of the Samiti.
Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti has been collaborating with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority for over 10 years. More than 12 Hon’ble Judges of the Delhi High Court and 4 Hon’ble Judges of the Supreme Court of India have graced the various legal awareness programmes jointly organised by Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti and Delhi State Legal Services Authority.
About the Event
Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Delhi, Delhi Police is committed to waging a war against Narcotics and implementing a Zero-Tolerance Policy towards drug-related crimes.
Keeping in view of this initiative, Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti (Regd.) and the Delhi Police (Crime Branch) are jointly organising a National Conference on the Prevention of Drug Use, its Act, Enforcement, and Awareness on the special occasion of International Women’s Day 2025. The National Service Scheme, in collaboration with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, is the Principal Partner in the Celebration.
Thirty-five research papers on this topic will be selected for the Presentation Competition (in both Hindi and English) at the aforementioned national conference.
The Presentation Competition will be held on Friday, 29th, 2025, at the Seminar Hall, NDMC Convention Centre, Jai Singh Road, near Sansad Marg, New Delhi. 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, Third Prize, 5 Special Prizes and Running Trophy will be awarded to the Educational Institution of the First Prize Winner. All participants will be honoured with a National Legal Awareness Award (Medal) for their participation in the programme, a Certificate of Participation in the National Conference, and a Certificate of Participation in the Paper Presentation Competition.
The Prizes will be distributed on Saturday, August 30, at Auditorium NDMC Convention Centre, Jai Singh Road, Sansad Marg, New Delhi- 110001 ( a prominent venue in New Delhi ) in the Award Session of International Women’s Day Celebration.
In the Award Session, Hon’ble Justice Dr. Sangita Dhingra Sehgal, Former Judge, Delhi High Court / President Delhi State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Sh. Robin Hibu IPS, Special Commissioner of Police – Delhi Police, Sh. Devesh Chandra Srivastava, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police, and Prof. K.K. Aggrawal, President/Vice Chancellor, South Asia University, have also consented to grace the occasion at the Award Session.
