Petitioners are the accused in Crime No.522 of
2024 registered at the Kottakkal Police Station, for
offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 143,
147, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, now
pending as C.C.No.708 of 2024 on the files of the
Judicial First Class M
agistrate Court, Malappuram.
2. The crime was registered on the allegation that,
at about 02:30 pm on 20.03.2024, the accused, due to
prior animosity, formed into an unlawful assembly,
wrongfully restrained and assaulted the de facto
complainant using helmet, stick and stone.
