Learned counsel for the applicant, Mr. A. Golly is present before
this Court physically.
This present miscellaneous application proceeding in
MC[CRP(C.R.P. Art. 227)] No. 57 of 2025 has been initiated by the
applicant/petitioner, whereby seeking for suspension/stay of the operation of
the impugned order dated 23.06.2025 rendered by the Ld. Court of Assistant
Survey & Settlement Officer – XI, Lamphelpat, Manipur in Demarcation Case
No. 9/AS & SO-XI of 2022 (Annexure – P/4 to the main petition).
Wherein, the learned counsel for the applicant in this matter is
submitting that the applicant/petition is a Government College namely, the
Modern College, Porompat, Imphal which is stated in the para No. 1 of the
application whereas, in Para No. 2 it is stated that the present respondent in
W.P.(C) No. 487 of 2022 has initiated against the petitioner and 2 Ors. and in
response to a notice dated 25.07.2022 in the aforesaid writ petition proceeding
and contention is taken in this matter for seeking intervention to suspend/stay
of the aforesaid order dated 23.06.2025.

However, the issue in between the petitioner and respondent is
required to be addressed and therefore, it is stated that without expressing
any opinion on the merit of this matter, it is deemed appropriate that the
impugned order rendered by the Ld. Court of Assistant Survey & Settlement
Officer – XI, Lamphelpat, Manipur in Demarcation Case No. 9/AS & SO-XI of
2022 is hereby stayed till the next date of hearing.
In the meanwhile, it is required to issue notice against the
respondent to persuade the matter.
Accordingly, issue process against the respondent.
This matter would be listed on 18.08.2025.
