1. Heard Shri A.N. Pandey, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard
Ms. Isha Jajodiya, learned Panel Lawyer, appearing for the
State/respondent.
2. This Criminal appeal is preferred against the judgment and order dated
14.12.2015 passed by the learned Special Judge (NDPS Act) Ambikapur,
Disrict Surguja (C.G.) in Special Session Trial No. 02/2015, whereby the
appellant has been convicted and sentenced for the offence punishable
under Section 21 (B) of Narcotic Durgs and Psychotropic Substance Act,
1985 (for short, ‘NDPS’) and sentenced him to undergo rigoruous
imprisonment for 10 years with fine of Rs. 1,00,000/- and in default of
payment of fine amount additional rigorous imprisonment for 01 year.
