About the Job
The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra, Judge, Supreme Court of India, is now accepting internship applications on a rolling basis. Applicants may apply for the months between August and December 2025.
Eligibility
The internship is open to students in the 3rd/4th/5th year of a five-year integrated LLB programme, 2nd/3rd year of a three-year LLB programme, those enrolled in an LLM programme or another postgraduate law degree, as well as recent law graduates.
Duration
Each internship will last a minimum of four weeks, starting from the first Monday of the month. Requests for longer internships or a different start date may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Nature of Work
Interns will assist with:
- Preparation of briefs, background notes, issue synopses, and case summaries
- Legal research
- Attending court proceedings (subject to permission) and preparing minutes
- Supporting work related to lectures, seminars, and academic writing.
Certificate
Interns who complete the programme satisfactorily will be issued a certificate of internship by the Office.

- Year and Course of Study
- Preferred Internship Month(s)

- Statement of Purpose (max 1 page)
- Curriculum Vitae/Résumé
- Writing Sample/Judicial Brief
Please note that applications submitted via email or any other channel will not be entertained.
Any academic writing sample (a project submitted for university, etc.) or a brief prepared in the course of a prior judicial internship will suffice.
Applicants are encouraged to apply atleast four weeks in advance of their preferred month(s).
