IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI
                      B.A. No. 5487 of 2025
                                -------

Aditya Saw, aged 48 years, son of Dasrath Saw, resident of village Jordag,
P.O. & P.S. Keredari, District Hazaribag (Jharkhand).

…… …. Petitioner(s)
Versus
The State of Jharkhand & Anr. ….. …. Opp. Parties

——–

CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH
                                --------
For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Awanish Ranjan Mishra, Advocate
For the State : Mr. Satish Prasad, A.P. P.
                                --------
02/ Dated 18.07.2025

       Heard the parties.

The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Hazaribag
Keredari P.S. Case No. 87 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.1509 of
2024, S.T. No.362 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 323,
341, 342, 307, 326, 354, 379, 452, 504 & 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code,
pending in the court of Sri Tarun Kumar, learned A.D.J.-VI, Hazaribag.

Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court
vide B.A. No. 9214/2024 by order dated 28.01.2025.

On 26.05.2024, the petitioner alongwith co-accused persons had
entered into the house of the informant. It is alleged that the accused persons
were trying to sexually assault the informant and when she resisted, this
petitioner inflicted knife injury on her person.

Learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner submitted that during
trial, two witnesses have been examined and they have stated that it was
Hemant Saw who had inflicted knife injury on the person of the informant.

Considering the fact that there is specific allegation against the
petitioner that he had inflicted knife injury on the person of the informant
while she resisted, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the appellant is rejected.
