CRIMINAL PETITION No.4422 of 2024
ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ‘Cr.P.C.,1973′) seeking quashment of
the proceedings against the petitioner in Crime No.281 of 2024 of
Gachibowli Police Station, Cyberabad District.
2. The petitioner is arrayed as accused in Crime No.281 of 2024,
registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420, 376 (2)
(n) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short ‘IPC) and Section 3 (2) (v) of
The Scheduled Castes And The Scheduled Tribes (Prevention Of
Atrocities) Act, 1989 for short ‘POA Act’).
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that charge sheet
was filed against the petitioner and numbered as S.C.No.679 of 2024.
Thereafter, the petitioner was discharged from the said case, therefore,
the cause in this Criminal Petition does not survive for adjudication.
4. Having regard to this development, instant Criminal Petition is
dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand
closed.
