1. List revised. None appears on behalf of the either of the parties. Learned A.G.A. is present for the State-respondents.

2. The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing of the cognizance/summoning order dated 22-04-2014 as well as entire proceedings of Case No. 8517 of 2011, under Sections 498A, 323, 504, 506 IPC and 3/4 D.P. Act, P.S. Govind Nagar, district Kanpur Nagar.

3. The instant application arises out of a matrimonial dispute. The marriage of opposite party no. 2 was solemnized with the brother of applicant no. 1 on 06-02-2004. Due to matrimonial discord, opposite party no. 2 lodged an F.I.R. against her husband and in-laws, i.e., the present applicants, on 30-01-2011. In the F.I.R., it was alleged that opposite party no. 2 was subjected to various forms of cruelty by the applicants due to the non-fulfilment of their demand for additional dowry. After investigation, a charge-sheet was submitted, and summons were issued on 22-04-2014. The summoning order and the entire proceedings have been challenged by means of this application.
