The petitioner is an accused in a case FIR being

under Sections 379/420/120(B)/114 of the Indian Penal Code;

under Sections 37, 63, 65A of the Copyright Act and under

Sections 43, 65, 66, 66b, 66(d) of the I.T.Act. He apprehends

his arrest and his anticipatory bail application was dismissed

by the High Court under the order impugned. Being aggrieved,

he had approached this Court and vide order dated 24.03.2025,

this Court while issuing notice, granted interim protection to

the petitioner subject to cooperation in the investigation.

Heard Mr. Rajiv Bhalla, learned counsel for the

petitioner and Mr. Rajat Nair, learned counsel for the

respondent(s). Presently, the petitioner is cooperating in the

investigation and all the co-accused have been released on

bail/anticipatory bail as we have been informed at the Bar.

Considering the nature of the case, we do not think there

is any requirement of custodial interrogation of the

petitioner. Consequently, we allow the prayer for grant of

anticipatory bail and make the order dated 24.03.2025 as

absolute.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioner is

directed to be released on bail forthwith on the usual terms

and conditions to be decided by the concerned Court.

The present petition shall stand disposed of in the above

terms along with pending application(s), if any.
