About the Opportunity
As the CLO, you will serve as the principal legal advisor to the executive leadership and Board of Directors, overseeing the entire legal function of the company. This includes litigation, risk management, M&A, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

- Job Type: Full-Time (5 days a week, in-office)
- Experience: 15+ years post-qualification
- Industry Preference: Experience in the gaming or tech sector preferred
- Compensation: Negotiable, based on performance in interviews
Key Responsibilities
Legal Strategy & Leadership
- Design and execute the legal strategy in alignment with business goals
- Advise executive leadership and board members on legal risks and obligations
- Lead and mentor the in-house legal team and manage external counsel
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Manage all litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters
- Coordinate with external counsel on pleadings, filings, and legal strategies
- Mitigate risks and control litigation-related costs
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and licensing frameworks
- Oversee internal legal policies, filings, disclosures, and audit preparedness
- Lead corporate governance efforts across all departments
Corporate & Commercial Law
- Handle corporate structuring, shareholder agreements, and board governance
- Draft, review, and negotiate key commercial contracts (vendor, NDAs, partnerships)
Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Transactions
- Oversee all M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances
- Lead legal due diligence, negotiation, and execution of deals
Risk Management & International Compliance
- Develop risk identification and mitigation frameworks
- Ensure cross-jurisdictional legal compliance and manage global legal exposure
Qualifications
- LL.B or LL.M from a recognized institution
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; CS qualification is a plus
- Minimum 15 years of experience handling complex legal matters, including M&A
- Exposure to international legal and regulatory systems
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active Bar membership preferred
