The Amikus Qriae (TAQ) is a leading legal platform established by eminent legal professionals and academicians from across India and beyond. Dedicated to academic excellence and legal empowerment, TAQ focuses on making legal knowledge accessible and fostering an in-depth understanding of various legal disciplines. About the Competition
The 4th National Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2025, organized by The Amikus Qriae, is a prestigious annual event designed to enhance advocacy skills among budding law students. It invites participation from reputed law universities and colleges across India and features multiple rounds including preliminaries, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final round. This year, the moot proposition is centered on Information Technology, Data Privacy, and Constitutional Law, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage in highly relevant and contemporary legal debates. By combining rigorous written memorial preparation with dynamic oral advocacy, the competition serves as a platform for future legal professionals to demonstrate their research, analytical, and argumentative skills in a competitive and professional environment
Eligibility:
Law Students:
Open to all students from institutions recognized in India enrolled in:
- 5-year integrated law programs
- 3-year LL.B. programs
- LL.M. programs
Team Composition
- Team Size: Each team must consist of 2 or 3 members.
2 Members: Both shall be speakers.
3 Members: Two speakers and one researcher. - Cross-Institutional Teams:
Students from different recognized institutions are allowed to form a team and participate. - Maximum Teams per Institution:
- Each recognized institution may register a maximum of 4 teams for the competition.

Prizes
Every Participating Team will get assured Virtual Internship Opportunities & Free Publication Opportunities irrespective of their ranks.
1. The Winning Team shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 12000/-. Along with Internship Opportunities with Chambers of Abhinav Mishra – Advocates and Solicitors, Delhi and Free publication Opportunity at Droit Penale Group bearing ISSN No. [2456-7280.] They shall also be awarded with a one-year subscription to CaseMine and access to free courses by our knowledge/supporting partners.
2. The Runner – Up Team shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 10000/- Along with Internship Opportunities with Chambers of Abhinav Mishra – Advocates and Solicitors, Delhi and free publication opportunity at Droit Penale Group bearing ISSN No. [2456-7280.] They shall also be awarded with a six-month subscription to CaseMine and access to free courses by our knowledge/supporting partners.
3. The Second Runner – Up Team shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 2000/- alongwith a free publication opportunity at Beyond Briefs Law Review ISSN No. [3048-4782] and access to free courses by our partners.
4. The Third Runner – Up shall be awarded with free book publication opportunity at Lex Scribe and access to discounted courses by our partners.
5. The Best Memorial shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 2000/- along with a free publication opportunity at Beyond Briefs Law Review ISSN No. [3048-4782]. They shall also be awarded with a six month subscription to CaseMine and and access to discounted courses by our partners.
6. The Best Speaker shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 2000/- Along with free book publication opportunity at Lex Scribe. They shall also be awarded with a six-month subscription to CaseMine and access to discounted courses by our partners.
7. The Best Researcher shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 2000/- an Internship Opportunity at Arnava Legal and a free publication opportunity at Lawfoyer International Journal of Doctrinal Legal Research [ISSN No. 2583-7753]. They shall also be awarded with a six-month subscription to CaseMine and access to discounted courses by our partners.
8. The Semi-finalists shall be awarded with free publication opportunity at Legal Lock journal ISSN No. 2583-0384 and Legal Vidhiya.
9. The Top 8 teams that would qualify for quarter final rounds they shall be awarded with internship at Law Jurist and discounted publication with Lawfoyer International Journal of Doctrinal Legal Research [ISSN No. 2583-7753].
