The Complainant has filed this complaint against
the accused under the provisions of Sec.200 of the Code
of Criminal Procedure, for the offence punishable
U/Sec.138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
2. The case of the Complainant is as under:-
It is stated that the accused and the complainant
are family members and friends and known to each
other from the past several years. The accused had
approached the complainant for hand loan of
Rs.10,00,000/- on 05.01.2018 to meet his urgent
domestic needs and with a promise to return within 10
to 12 months. Accordingly, the complainant has
transferred a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to the accused by
way of RTGS vide Ref No.CBIN5201801201 dated
20.01.2018 vide cheque No.018671, drawn on Central
Bank of India, Subramanyanagar Branch, Bengaluru.
