Shreya Rao & Associates is a boutique Indian law practice specialising in tax and private client law, with a strong cross-border focus in the work that we do. It is motivated by the traditional and patient way of practising law, and would like to be known for our clear, personalised and values driven approach to practice, as much as for their technical expertise and domain knowledge.
About the Internship
Shreya Rao & Associates is looking for legal interns.
Eligibility
Since we are a small and specialised boutique, we are only able to welcome candidates who are a good fit for our tight-knit team. You are:
A 4th or 5th year law student;
With solid fundamentals + the sensibilities of a generalist; and
Since we’re all nerdy about tax and do cutting-edge work in the space, it would be a bonus if you are sound on tax first principles
Role
This year, the interns have been staffed on a broad mix of client focussed, legislative policy, pro-bono and academic projects in the tax and private client space.
No of Seats
Maximum of two interns a month
Location
All the internships are in-person assessment internships (in Bangalore). All interns work closely with the team on client + non-client matters, and we hire AOs exclusively from the intern pool.
Stipend
All interns get a stipend of INR 10,000 a month.
