Station submitted charge sheet against accused No.1
and 2 for the offences punishable under Section
498(A), 504, 323, 506 read with Section 34 of Indian
Penal Code.
2. Prosecution Case: The marriage of CW1
namely Smt. Priya Jyothi and the accused No.1 was
solemnized on 28-12-2007 as per Christian customs
and rites. After the marriage, the accused was
residing with CW1 and her parents CW2 namely Sri
Sakkare Ramdas and CW3 namely Smt. Shashikala
at No.31/1, 2nd Cross, CPV Block, Muthappa Block,
5th Main, Bengaluru City, wherein the accused No.1
subjected the CW1 to mental and physical cruelty
and used to suspect her character by making false

allegations against her for having illicit affairs at
workplace. Further, on 25/08/2018 the accused
No.1 and 2 with common intention came to the house
of CW1, picked up quarrel with her, abused by
stating that if she does not quit the job, he will give
her divorce and threatened her if she will not bring
property and money as dowry he will spoil the life of
her sister namely CW4 Pavithra.
