TLH, Advocates & Solicitors has added a second disputes partner since its rebrand from Tatva Legal, Hyderabad two months ago, bringing on George Varghese as a partner in Hyderabad. Varghese joins from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas’ Bengaluru office where he was a partner since 2022.
Varghese brings over a decade of experience in dispute resolution, having advised multinational corporations, public sector lenders, government ministries and private equity funds. His practice focuses on pre-dispute risk management, strategic advisory, and representation in complex disputes before Indian courts and both international and domestic arbitral tribunals.
He has specific sector focus on infrastructure, energy, finance, insolvency, white collar crime, and environmental law. He has been instrumental in managing the entire lifecycle of disputes for major Indian and global businesses.
Varghese’s hire follows the expansion of TLH’s disputes offerings post its recent rebrand, including the induction of Sriharinadha Raju as partner in Vijaywada, “reflecting a phase of steady expansion and consolidation for the firm,” TLH said in a statement.
CAM has seen a string of partner departures in Bengaluru recently, including Varghese, Vishak Abraham and Akshay Jeet Bhatt.
