About Amity University

Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow (AULC) is a Constituent Unit of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida. Established in 2004, it aims to impart research and innovation-driven education in the region. About Amity Law School

Amity Law School (ALS) is a premier institution under AULC, established in 2007. It provides a global learning environment through innovative teaching methodologies and UGC- recognized Undergraduate and Postgraduate law programs. ALS actively promotes internationalization, creating a multicultural academic setting for collaborative learning.

With over 1,300 students across UG and PG programs, ALS has instituted a Mentor Mentee Program to support students in career development and personal growth. Each faculty member mentors a group of students, offering regular career counselling and guidance. Under the leadership of Director Prof. Dr. Tapan Chandola, ALS organizes various academic and co-curricular events, including International and National Seminars, Law Fests, Carnivals, Workshops, National Quizzes, National & Intra Moot Court Competitions, and National Faculty Development Programs throughout the year.

About the Competition

The Competition simulates a law office consultation in which a team of two law students, acting as lawyers, will consult a client. It aims to encourage students to develop interviewing & planning abilities and analytical skills in lawyer-client relationship in the corporate structure.

Theme

The theme for all the rounds shall be based on any or spectrum of laws including:

  • Constitution Law
  • Criminal Law
  • Business Law
  • Family Law

Eligibility

Eligibility: UG students, LLB students in any year from any University/ Law School/ College/ Department, are eligible to apply for registration of their team. “Problems for all the rounds will be provided on 4th of September”

Important dates

  • Last Date of Registration- 25th August, 2025
  • Prelim Round- 11th September 2025
  • Quarter Final Round Semi Final Round and Final round: 12th September,2025

Fee

The registration fee shall be Rs. 2000 + 18% GST, totalling Rs. 2360 for each team. The registration fee shall be non-refundable and non-transferable.

Awards

  • Winner: Rs. 9,999
  • Runner up: Rs. 7,000
  • Best Counsel: Rs. 2,100 (Individual)
