Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

petitioner on account of a bona fide error has filled the category

as ‘General’ instead of ‘OBC’. It is submitted that in the written

examination, the petitioner appeared as ‘General’ category

candidate.

Having heard the submissions made by the petitioner and

upon a perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of

a view that the petitioner as a belated stage i.e. at and around

commencement of counseling is claiming to attain benefits under

the ‘OBC’ Category, however, the same is not tenable at this fag

end, as it shall render a grave impact upon the entire merit list.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as

having become infructuous. Pending applications, if any, shall

stand disposed of.
